We ask for you to provide us with a contact email address during the signup process. This is our primary means of communication with you. This email address also acts as your login for our billing system and is required if you wish to register a domain name through Checker Design.
Other Means of Communication
As well as providing an email address, we also ask you to provide us with a postal address and telephone number. These details are required for purchasing or transferring a domain and also help us contact you if a circumstance arose where we could not contact you via email.
Duration
The information and data you provide to us at Checker Design will be held while you are an active customer of Checker Design and for up to one year after you close your account. This is for administration purposes only and after this time, your data will be removed.
Information Protection
All information collected by Checker Design is held solely by Checker Design and is not passed onto any unauthorised third party. The only parties who may be required to have access to some/all of your information are authorised law enforcement agencies (if we are requested to do so) or if a third party technical support team need to contact you regarding an issue on your account.
To prevent unauthorised access, maintain data accuracy and to ensure the appropriate use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic and managerial procedures designed to safeguard the information we collect online.
